The lid is made of 304 stainless steel. If the lid becomes loose when pouring water, remove the silicone ring from the lid and put it in the opposite direction, and the lid will become tight. This iced tea pitcher is lead-free and heat & cold resistant, stovetop safe (induction cooker is forbidden), and a small fire is recommended. Dishwasher safe, but hand wash is better, don't use hard objects such as stainless steel sponge.
